Teacher Education Transfer Agreement

The purpose of this web site is to show coursework at SUNY Associate Degree Granting Institutions (ADGI) that conforms to the SUNY Teacher Education Transfer Template (TETT) curriculum patterns. For each ADGI listed, this web site shows the acceptability of coursework at SUNY colleges with teacher education programs.

A principal function of this web site is for advisement of students who plan to enter a teacher education program at a senior SUNY campus. The site also serves as guidance to State University academic professionals who have responsibility for developing AA or AS proposals that conform to the TETT and will result in registered programs. As programs are registered, they will be so designated on this web site.

When a student at a SUNY ADGI has completed a specific sequence of coursework, s/he has assurance that the represented coursework will transfer to the designated baccalaureate campuses. Any exceptions are noted in the templates or, in some cases, in the four-year college's information page at this web site. This web site will be reviewed and updated annually, during May and June, with course and program changes. However, students and advisors should be aware that courses or programs may change in the interim between updating.

The TETT project is a SUNY System articulation initiative and therefore assures that a transferring student's coursework is accepted in whole if s/he gains admission to a parallel program at a participating SUNY baccalaureate campus. Completion of the TETT curricula does not guarantee admission to a particular teacher education baccalaureate program or institution. Information pertaining to admission requirements for participating senior colleges is provided as part of the guidance on this web site and may be accessed by institution name from the list below. Students are advised to visit the web pages of teacher education campuses of interest, accessible from the institution's page at this web site.

Please choose a two-year college, a desired level of education program, and an academic major or concentration. (Students must complete an academic major or concentration as part of a program leading to teacher certification.)
